Ski in cash desk at Plan Chécrouit, non stop from the opening to the closure of the lifts. (only basic passes are proposed)

| Is there a ski pass that just covers Courmayeur? |
| Yes, day pass, 3 hours,4 hours, consecutive days,non consecutive days and season these are also valid for the Mont Blanc cable car.

| With the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass how do I get to Chamonix? |
- Through the Mont Blanc Tunnel (11km) with your car. There is a discounted price on presentation of your Mont Blanc Unlimites ski pass. The ticket is available at the cash desks of the lift company only.
- with the free bus Courmayeur –Chamonix (only for those who have the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass). Booking at the 00 39 0165 84 20 31 or 0039 0165 84 13 05.
- with the local bus (Savda, Piazzale Monte Bianco) who have a daily return service.
- With your skis. If you are a good skier you can reach Chamonix with the off piste route of the Vallee Blanche and then get the bus back from Chamonix to Courmayeur ( this is on a glacier so it therefore recommended that you take an alpine guide)

| Can dogs go in the lifts? |
| Only on the cable cars of Cormayeur and Val Very and Dolonne gondola. Compulsory lead and muzzle. All the dogs also need a pass.

| Are there refunds when the lifts are partially closed? |
| The operating rules, which are shown in all the ticket offices of the CMBF, do not provide any refunds, neither for technical or atmospheric reasons (art.23)

|
| If there is wind will the lifts be closed? |
All the lifts have a security system against the wind. These systems work automatically slowing down the lifts and/or stopping when they reach their threshold limit. When the speed of the wind is sustained above the threshold limit the lifts cannot function because the security system won’t allow it.
When the decision is taken to close a lift, it is done after looking closely at the situation with the remit of safeguarding the public and to avoid anyone being stuck on lifts.

| Are the pistes groomed? |
| The pistes are groomed during the night after closure to the public. In the case of heavy snow the pistes may also be groomed in the morning before it is open to the public. The regional law 9/92—27/2004 and the national law 363/2003 state that the machines used to groom the piste must be allowed on the pistes only after closure to the public except in emergency circumstances or for rescue.

| Is there a snow park and if so where is it? |
| There is no snow park in Courmayeur. However, during the winter there are many special snowboard events organised.

| Is night skiing possible? |
There is no night skiing.
The only possibility of night skiing is on the piste at Dolonne that is part of the Fun Park Dolonne and which can be illuminated when booked by groups or for special events.

| The lifts which can be used by non skiers with a return ticket are:

| Can sledges be used on the slopes? |
It is prohibited to travel on the ski pistes with anything other than skis, monoskis or snowboards (Regional law 9/92, art.11-2).
There is a small area for sledges next to the conveyor belt at the top of the Val Veny cable car.

| From where, as a pedestrian, can I admire Mont Blanc? |
- Taking the Val Veny cable car, arriving at Prè de Pascal;
- If you go up with the Courmayeur Cable car or Dolonne gondola you have to take a second lift: Checrouit gondola or Maison Vieille chairlift, a marvellous panorama can be seen if you continue up with the cable cars of Youla and Arp.
- You can also use the Mont Blanc cable car to get to the terrace on the glacier at Punta Helbronner

- People in a wheelchair who ski with a companion: discount of 50% for both the disabled person and the companion
- blind people with a companion: discount of 50% for the blind person and the companion
- disabled people who don’t ski and therefore only for return tickets pay full price

| If with a companion, the cable cars of Courmayeur and Val Veny, the gondolas of Dolonne and Chècrouit and all the chairlifts can be used.

Off piste |
| Is it possible to ski off piste? |
|
The off piste is not under the responsibility of the Society of the lifts and è a rischio e pericolo dello sciatore for the skier. We remind you that those who ski off piste must have the capability, the information and the equipment necessary to do the off piste itinary. It is advised that you have a guide.
ARVA Check points
There are 3 points where you can check that your ARVA is working:
- Col Chècrouit
- Pre de Pascal
- Punta Helbronner.
From this season 2008/2009 an ARVA training field will be created at Pré de Pascal.
Another ARVA zone can be found in the area of the Mont Blanc Cable car at Pavillion.
